Reznor® HVAC Equipment is recognized as a world-wide leader in heating, air conditioning, ventilating, and makeup air. The products are available around the globe with a half dozen manufacturing plants throughout North America and Europe.
Reznor was founded in 1888 to manufacture the “Reznor” reflector heater, which used a luminous flame gas burner developed by George Reznor. This technological breakthrough was an immediate success and hastened the expansion of gas heating in residential and commercial applications.
Technological development and innovation have been the hallmark of Reznor products through the years. The development of the forced air gas unit heater, the modular Thermocore® heat exchanger, and the high-efficiency, sealed-draft Venturion® unit heater have kept Reznor products at the forefront of technological advances in commercial and industrial gas heating.
As a result of this pioneering role in the heating, makeup air, and ventilating equipment field, the products offered today are the most advanced in engineering design to satisfy a wide variety of applications. Reznor Products include a complete line of heating, makeup air and ventilating systems, using gas, oil, hot water/steam, or electric heat sources.
Established in 1963, Cambridge has pioneered the development and application of direct gas-fired space heating technology. Today, Cambridge Engineering is recognized as the leading manufacturer of energy efficient heating and ventilating systems for warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, automotive service facilities, parking garages, indoor sports facilities, restaurants, and many other types of commercial and industrial buildings.
Direct gas-fired technology is the most energy efficient choice for heating make-up air because it does not use a flue or heat exchanger. The gas is burned directly in the air stream being heated. That means 100% of the available heat (every BTU of gas burned) is then delivered directly and efficiently to the building.
Indirect gas-fired make-up air heating equipment is only 60% to 80% efficient due to heat exchanger inefficiency and heat lost up the flue. It is also possible to experience condensation within heat exchanger sections of indirect-fired units in cold climates causing corrosion and premature failure.
Do not substitute any type of indirect gas-fired make-up air heater for a Cambridge M-Series direct gas-fired heater. The technologies are different. Performance will be jeopardized and energy costs will increase.
Greenheck is known worldwide as the leading manufacturer of air-movement and control equipment. Its flagship ventilation products are typically found behind walls, in ductwork or on the roofs of hospitals, office buildings, hotels, shopping malls, restaurants, schools, industrial plants and other commercial buildings. Their function, basically, is to move air in, out and around a building — making life inside a lot more pleasant.
Greenheck offers make up air units for industrial and for commercial kitchen applications. Heating options include direct fired gas, indirect fired gas, steam, hot water and electric resistance. Available cooling options are evaporative cooling, direct expansion coils and chilled water coils.
Industrial Make-Up Air Units
Greenheck’s line of industrial make-up air units is designed to provide supply air for buildings with process and combustion exhaust. A variety of configurations, tempering options and heating and cooling capacities assure that Greenheck will be able to provide make-up air for your application.
Kitchen Systems Make-Up Air Units
Greenheck offers both tempered and non-tempered make-up air systems designed to work with your kitchen exhaust system. You may select a stand-alone unit, or a combination package, which includes a combo curb, supply fan and exhaust fan. The package offers the benefit of only one roof penetration for both the supply and exhaust ducts, and provides compliance with NFPA-96.
